office style toolbars

ok, i know MFC provides support for "rebars" (the toolbars on internet explorer)
which are reasonably flexible in that you can move them around within the
toolbar/menu area.
what i want (and havn't found any articles/help on) is the office style toolbars
which you can move out of the toolbar area in which case they'll reside in
their own window or snap to the side of the windows, even the menu bar can
exist in a window with these toolbars
so,
how so i make one
is there a simple MFC class for this?
is there an online article that you can point me to?
maybe there isn't any official support for this kind of toolbar but you know
of a "hack" into the office dlls?

please help,
merlin
