In reply to your question which is not stupid at all. I am becoming serious
over VB6 applicability you have explain in security.internet. Most importantly,
I suggest to check Visual Basic Community, in devX Vb Zone, MS Restores VB6
functionality to VB.NET newsletter article in below URL. Behavior of Boolean
operators Microsoft intended to change and AND,OR, not Or operators can sneak
in W32.Mimail.A@mm. These are able to be restored into previous functionality,
however, both logical and bitwise, as has a operator precedence. In plain
words, e-mail can clog and short-circuit capability is removed and reassigned
to other operators. This conflicts with VB style of declaring arrays. Not
even Dim a(10) arrays but Dim i(8) too. As the result, nostalgia trip back
into our Computing past may occur within seamless transition from our VB6
to Visual Basic.NET software.

Hi,
Just a note to say that the URL posted below will only work if you take the
period out between the word "ednote" and the number. In other words,
http://archive.dev-archive.com/free/newsletters/vb/ednote040601.asp. And please
keep in mind that it is 2.5 years old (April 2001). There is likely more
current information available on the effect of those language changes.
