I apologize if this is a stupid question, but ... If I write a simple chat
program in VB6 to convey with a dozen personal aquaintances on the internet,
is it possible, should one of them feel malicious, for him/her to introduce
a virus to any one of the others using only the text strings passed back
and forth between our computers?

Any input appreciated ...
