I think it was supposed to be a coffee ("Java") cup.

Paul,

I am sorry but I do not know the answer to your question!
But I am looking for advise on how to use Java Chat Room to the best effect.
Would you be able to help me?
I am Pure JAVA Consultant who is looking for more Java Developers/Analysts/Designers
to work for my client in the UK.
The skills I am looking for are mainly JSP,EJB and Beans, with knowledge
of XML and WEBSERVERS (iPlanet would be good).
At the moment I have 400 requirements for good Java Developers with salaries
upto $100,000 and beyond. I can arrange work permits, and if there are enough
developers in one US City then I will fly out and interview face to face.

In slang, Java means "Cup of Coffee" and the logo itself represents the meaning
of that.
