Oracle Has SQL Server Beat in Stored Procedure Programming

What an article. It has pretty listed all the gripes i have about SQL Server.
I fully endorse the views about Oracle being better.

One thing that i havnt tried, but wondered if it would help...

You appear to be able to set up user defined Data Types. It seemed to me
that thsi could be used to create most database fields and could help overcome
the problem with sp's and changing database field lengths.

Does anyone have any comments on the use of Use Defined Types?
