How can I auto-update a single row in hatml table? (i.e. like yahoo! does)

Hello,

I would like to understand and make a self-refreshing page as i.e. the ones of yahoo! finance.
What I do not understand is how they refresh the value without refreshing the entire page. There is no javas in the place where price are supposed to be, no reference to tags...

I am very fuzzied. I would like to understand how it works -has anyone an idea or can point me to the right documentation to study?

Thanks in advance!!

Max

(ps: i.e. the MS title does this, http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=MSFT )

Thank you alot!!

Exactly what I were in need of :)
I will study the docs deeply, thanks. Hopefully, I can find the function to be called in remote for politely reducing their server overload.

(the goal is to try to reduce the Yahoo!/Reuters and the like page overload of our tool when used in the freeware version, which can but use available data on the net)
