Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in - i looked for a source safe forum !
anyway - im using vb6 and have just installed sourcesafe 2005
i have added a new project to source safe and the working folder I have set is full of the vb files i need to keep track of -
I check files out to edit - the lock sign is on in vb next to a file if its not checked out so i guess its seeing sourcesafe - however after making a few changes - checking the file in and out - i go to view history within sourcesafe and nothing happens - no history of the file which has definitely changed appears - I go to properites of the file and say I have done 4 changes to the file then it says versions 1-4 so sourcesafe does seem to know there has been changes but will not show me a history - does anyone know what i may be doing wrong - or point me in the right direction to solve the problem - i am a total newbie to using sourcsafe ..
