Iam a beginner in the world of Visual Basic.

Unless you have a reason to learn Classic VB, you might want to skip right into VB.Net. It is the newer version of VB, and is supported by Microsoft.

Classic VB is slowing going away, and isn't supported by MS anymore.

I agree with edburdo.VB.NET is much better than Classic VB. You can directly learn about VB.NET even you don't know about VB6.
