Next Lucrative Career Option After IT Career ?
I was reading a gartner report claiming that IT Career oppurtunities will be reduced to 50% of its current strength by 2010. The report also suggests to surivive in IT industries, one might have both techinical as well as managerial skills, that is code yourself as well as talk to customers
If that happens , will it be end of most of the peoples it career ?
Else what all career option will be available? People will move to freelancing , internet marketing?

I find the reduction of 50% hard to believe. If it is even partially true, then I have also read that the number of people getting IT degrees is decreasing as well. The end result should net out to where there should be plenty of work to do for the foreseeable future for anyone that is good.
