I cannot register to the network....[please help me]
Hello everybody..
i have try to send sms or make any phonecall using my GSM Modem, but the result always "wind 5,1 - NO CARIER - wind 6,1"
then i think, if no carier that mean i have not register my SIM to the network.
I used AT+CREG=1 and the result is "Ok - CREG=1,0" (The result must be CREG=1,1 that mean register process succesfully)
but, after that i still cannot send sms or make any phonecall??
Please help me

You probably need to do more than just run the CREG command. For example, is the modem associated with a specific carrier? If so, does the carriar have an allocated number for it? Finally, there's also an authentication process that has to be performed before you can make a call. The details depend on various factors such as the moderm's model, the carrier, the GSM version used etc.

For Information, i use Fargo Maestro 100 GSM/GPRS modem.

To check the carrier, what command i can use ??
