I am writing java coding using J2ee. my server is linux but my user use window xp as operating system. i need to develop a module for alert email/notification mail to the manager without press any button. the email will sent to manager by comparing current date with the plan date. but the problem is, how can i run the system or sent the mail without press any button. i know that the windows services can do that. but the problem is my server is linux. i need to develop it using java. i hope somebody can help me...pleasse :SICK: :confused:
