Yahoo messenger API
Hi ALL
i have been searching API for Yahoo messenger. All i can find is jYMSG. its good but are there any more API available in JAVA so that i can compare different APIs.

That's the only one that I'm aware of. I haven't used it, but I've looked through it before when researching several chat protocols and it seems like a pretty solid package. I made one for AIM (toc2) because I couldn't find a decent one anywhere on sourceforge. Most were set up only to include basic functionality for bots.

ya the api is quite good. thanks for the reply. thers also an api multiple protocol HAMSAM . The prob with the jYMSG is peer to peer file tranfer which it does not support.

You could try and add it, but I dont know how tough that'll be. There's very little documentation on the yahoo protocol.
