Java developer full time position

Location: Columbus,Ohio

Java Developer with 4-6 years of development experience. They need to have J2EE (framework experience like Struts would be good but is not required), JSP, Javascript, HTML, CSS experience. I need someone who can work within a team structure but can also work in self directed situations.

Responsibilities:
Developing the technical specifications, design, and architecture for the project.
Help to scope and estimate project work, identify appropriate staffing levels and skill sets needed to support a project.
Participate in and facilitate site and application development.
Enforce unit testing, code and documentation standards within the projects development team.
As directed by the Client Services Manager, communicate with client in regards to initial development infrastructure setup
Work with Client Services to address client issues and concerns in regards to the technology implementation using the appropriate tone and technical detail.
Collaborate with Design and Strategy resources as needed to facilitate overall project success.

Required Experience:
A Bachelor?s Degree in MIS, CIS, CS or Communications or equivalent experience is required.
3-7 years experience in J2EE-based web application development.
Must have experience with the Struts and Tiles development frameworks.
A solid understanding of web application development best practices, including use case development, OOAD and OOP, UML, reusable design patterns, and multi-tier architectures.
Experience with identifying scalability and other risks associated with a technical design decision.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to use sound judgment when delivering a message, adjusting the tone, detail, and length based on the audience.
Proven ability in managing conflicts between team members.
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team oriented and creative environment and have a passion for technology.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Content Management principles and experience with Flash, AJAX, or other RIA interface technologies.
