Job Description:

database administrator position responsible for Informix, SQL Server, and OpenSource database operational support activities. Informix Support and SQL Server Support will be prime responsility.Keeping databases 'operationally healthy.' Database setup, installation, and tuning activities.Installation of DBMS related software (binaries).Documentation of all database objects. Database security management.Performs database\database system upgrades, patching, and maintenance .Works on Incident and Change Tickets

Must have excellent communication, written and presentation skills.
Must be a self starter with a proven track record of delivering customer focused solutions.

Knowledge of relational database theory.
Willingness to work off-hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
