Citrix is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
MOM Administrator

Primary Responsibilities:
* Required to oversee and participate in IT projects, which includes implementing solutions, analysis and gathering of business requirements, and reporting the status of projects to their successful completion.
* Design, implement and support Windows systems and supporting hardware in a redundant, multi-tiered environment.
* Design and implement monitoring tools and reporting of datacenter health
* Implement and support backup solutions.
* Support of automated server build tools.
* Must be able to quickly identify and remedy hardware problems with Compaq Intel or AMD-based servers.
* Serve as an escalation point for software or hardware problems within the datacenter environment.
* Recommend and schedule patches and firmware maintenance.
* Forecast and proactively recommend strategic hardware/software upgrades or replacements.
* Provide tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects.
* Escalates issues to various vendors and coordinate resolution for hardware and software problems.
* Implements and supports new technologies.

This is an on-call position and requires that the individual provide a means of contact 24/7/365 while on-call as defined by the Mgr., Server Operations. (In this case, a cell phone will be provided by Citrix.)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Must have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows 2003 and Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM).
* Strong knowledge of and significant past work experience with Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Network Services such as DNS, WINS, DHCP, Whats up gold, Active Directory, backup systems, automated server build technologies, enterprise monitoring and SAN/NAS environments is mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of scripting.
* Experience with an Enterprise solution for patching is necessary.
* Some experience with managing implementations and tracking project deliverables is a plus
64bit Windows OS and hardware, UNIX, Microsoft IIS, and the Citrix family of products is a plus.
* Must be able to create and maintain clear and easily understandable documentation of both the current and proposed states of systems.

Education, Training, Experience:
* Minimum 5 years datacenter support and design experience.
* MCSE and Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
* Citrix certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
