IIS Intranet Server

Hi All
I am running an Intranet Server on my PC. The system on the LAN connect it through my PC IP number.

I want a way so that user should just type http:\\rajeev.com and get connected.

I have no idea of how can I do it. I have read about DNS but not too much sure. Can any one help me.

Thanks
Rajeev

Setting up your own web hosting environment with a registered domain name costs money and requires some effort. See the following:

If your machine's name is rajeev (right-click on "My Computer," select "Properties," click "Computer Name" tab), users on your domain should be able to access your site by visiting http://rajeev in their browsers.
