yes, very vaguely...anyway, what exactly is the problm? does your app try to acces this file and fails or is it a different kind of error?

:) ok,
my question is i have a application with call a .chm as my help files. if i working offline(which means not using the local server exe file) that work fine...
but if i store it in my local server and access through my computer it can open my .chm help file but the content(HTML page) was fail to load... i'm using the HTML Help Workshope to build my help files so the .chm file is contain of all the HTML pages... so is it my setting problem or the ways i call to open my file is wrong??
you get my question?
pls advice!!
thanks!!

we've been having this issue as well--some users being unable to use/view chm files that are hosted outside the original application. Here are some possible explainations I have found so far:

Other possible solutions could be converting chm files to pdf and/or html. So far, I've found ABC Amber good for chm-->pdf, and www.colorpilot.com for chm--> htm for keeping the left nav hierarchy
