I've got an existing vb app that will be accessing data on our frame in a
db2 6.1 database. It does so via a data object in mts. The data object uses
an odbc connection(The oledb provider is not an option because we are at
mdac 2.1 sp2 and can't upgrade right now). The app server is running nt 4
sp6, mts 2.0, and db2. I have been told several different things by several
different people, but I am pretty sure that it is running db2 connect v 6.1.
When I try to update records, I get permission denied. When I run against
another machine with db2 7 on it, it works fine. Could it be that something
that is included with 7, but not 6 needs to be loaded. IBM's documentation
is weak at best. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
