JB,
The code base for DB2 on Solaris on Win2K is the same. The only difference
is some OS specialization code. Your answer will really depend on which
platform you prefer based on costs, skills, manageability, growth etc.

Does anybody have any DB2 experience concerning manageability and growth issues
on the two OSes? I understand the cost and skills part.
Is manageability and scaleability still an issue in the windows world, or
is it just a stigma that Windows cannot shake (but is not actually true)?
