Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone can give me a guiding hand !! I have just completed
a programming course in C, i want to switch careers from electrical engineering
to programming,I'm 35 live in uk.I can't find an employer willing to give
me a start in C\C++.(they all seem obsessed with graguates!!)My friend did
the same course but in JAVA and he is working as a trainee programmer on
19k now, although most of his work is in VB not java!)..I am due to start
a follow on course in C++ next month, would i be better to switch my attentions
to VB6 as a starter in to the industry?? or should i get a milk round !!!?
Your wisdom would be appreciated. :-)
