Changing Jobs

I am currently in the process of learning Java. I attended a training course
a few weeks ago and am attending another one this week. My plan/goal is
to become a Sun Certified Java Programmer. I also want to find a new job.
Is it better to wait until after I get the certification or start looking
after the course is over?

Thanks

Jim

# 1 Re: Changing Jobs
You may start looking for an entry level position now. Some companies may
even pay for training and certification. Your certification may assume that
you have experience but this is not necessarily true. So, I'd say you
shouldn't wait to get certified before looking...
