Sean: Go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/net/ and follow the link labeled,
"Download the .NET Framework SDK Technology Preview."

dev-archive.com is tracking all the latest .NET Beta info at
http://www.dev-archive.com/dotnet/resources/

Includes all the ways you'll be able to get the Visual Studio.NET beta.

Phil,

He was asking about Visual Studio.NET, not the .NET Framework SDK.

Actually, a far better place to send folks to is the
http://www.dev-archive.com/dotnet/resources/ page. Click on the .NET Beta link
there and you'll see that dev-archive has more news about the beta than is
available anywhere else.

Robert: He said he kept reading that people already had it, so I assumed he
was talking about what people already have, which is the .NET SDK, right?
Does anybody outside Microsoft have Visual Studio.NET yet?

Yes, but if I told you who I'd have to kill you. <g>

All the PDC folks got Visual Studio.NET too, although that was the PDC
version and was known before that show as Visual Studio 7.0.
