I'm hoping somebody can help me with a query I have on making a data call
to a mobile phone via the internet.

We have some hardware on site which is basically a GSM phone connected to
a GPS module.

With the desktop version of the client software a call is made through a
phone connected to COM2 of a PC. The stored data from the module is downloaded
and stored in a database.

What we are trying to do now is put this application onto the internet but
we cannot find a Data Call gateway.

For example if we were using SMS we could hook up with an SMS gateway provider
and rely on them for sending and receiving messages. Does anybody know of
a similar facility for Data Calls ?
